AEA-Europe recognises that doctoral students are an important stakeholder group for the future of the Association and for the field of assessment more broadly. Cutting-edge research is often generated at this level, and doctoral students represent the future leaders of the field. Accordingly, AEA-Europe has recently launched a Doctoral Network for students and supervisors to help foster communication on research and career matters.
The aims of the network are to:
How do I join the AEA-Europe Doctoral Network?
Would you like to share your assessment research with a wider audience?
The AEA-Europe newsletter can provide such an opportunity: in the latest issue we introduced a section of short articles by doctoral students, outlining their research in assessment. Each was 500-600 words and followed a similar format, covering the research and the context, with some details of methodology, potential impacts or directions.
Publishing short articles in the newsletter and involvement in the Doctoral Network will provide opportunities to share your research with other AEA-Europe members. This has many potential benefits, including raising your profile across Europe, connecting with members working in similar areas and receiving useful advice and/or leads from other assessment professionals.
